Occasionally I’ve been asked to work on projects for groups I’m involved with. The last few weeks have been spent putting together a Pinterest Campaign for WFCP (Window Fashions Certified Professionals) to be used at the “Big Show” in Chicago coming up in a few weeks. I’m on the Advisory Board for this group, and while I’m not going to quit my day job…I think I did a pretty good job at setting it up.
The WFCP team is excited to announce Vision Spotters at Vision12, April 24-26, 2012. Our spotters will showcase their favorite products, seminars and top trends at the Vision12 show. The “Vision Spotters” will post and curate their favorite looks on Pinterest, a website that lets users organize and share photos on virtual pinboards.
The spotters will capture images of their favorite finds as they walk the Vision12 and KBIS aisles and snap pics of their must- haves in seminars and events. Our Vision Spotters will list the exhibitor name and booth number or seminar title with the photo. They also will present the exhibitor with a sign that highlights the Vision Spotter’s name and a QR code and URL for the Pinterest board.
Participants can also pin favorite products and trends to a live-streaming pinboard using the Vision12”s Twitter hashtag #Vision12chicago.
